During our Thanksgiving Eve service an offering will be taken for Covenant World Relief to provide emergency food to the Philippines island province of Leyte following the destruction caused by Typhoon Haiyan. We are also having a Tree-lighting/service-project/potluck-dinner event this Sunday night from 5-7pm to kick off the Advent Season! Wednesday will be the last day to drop off items for the stocking stuffer service project! These stockings will go to the foster kids at A Place Called Hope for Christmas. We are still looking for toddler items as well as things for boys and individually wrapped snack foods. If you don't know what to give, you can also leave a donation as we will be buying anything we'll need more of.
