Youth Group will start ack up on January 9th! Also Suday School will begin January 6th!

Our prayers go out to you this Christmas season and we can't wait to see you in the new year!

Registration is now open!

Don't go missing on us! Remember, sign up before the end of the year with your deposit for the cheaper price! Forms can be picked up at youth group and in the Youth Pod (Room 106 in the ed building).

The trip will be from Mar. 14-16, 2008 and a $50 deposit and registration is needed before the end of the year to secure your spot and the early bird $155 price. After the new year, the price goes back up to $165. Like always, scholarships are always available and forms are also in the Youth Pod! If you have any questions, please contact Jen Easton. X-mas Party!

Come on down this Wednesday as we hang out together for a Xmas Party! Games and food abound for the last youth group of the year!

Well fret no more! Tomorrow we'll have Mike Stelle in to guide us through a Bible story, showing us that with a little more understanding of the times, we can apply these stories to our lives. So come on down to learn and play some games! Don't forget to bring your Bible!

MASS HANGOUT This Wednesday!

That's right! It's the first Mass Hangout of the school year, so don't miss it!

You'll have more fun then this cat-guaranteed! And if you stay home, you'll end up looking like the cat in the background. So sad...

Bring some friends and come on down to HCC for a night of games and hanging out!

Pizza and Praise!

This Wednesday we're having our first 'Pizza & Praise' of the year! So bring $3 and an appetite as we break bread together and finish the night praising God!

And don't forget, the following week (Dec. 5th) is our first 'Mass Hangout' of the year! So don't forget to invite your friends as we simply hang out and play games all night!

Unofficial Youth Group Movie Info!

Here's the deal, a tradition has been started that instead of having youth group the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we ask students to come out to the Thanksgiving Eve service at 7pm. Afterwards, it's been know that a bunch of HCC peoples go and see the next family friendly movie playing at the Gig Harbor movie theater.

Now this is not a youth sponsored event. That means, we don't collect money from you, buy your ticket, drive you there, drive you home, have you sign a waiver, or even have to wait to make sure you get picked up afterwards (though we probably will out of habit). We are just letting you know that we are going and that we'd love to see you and your friends and your family there as well.

This tradition has been going on for over five years and even returning high school grads come out and join us!

I would also like to say that it is less about what movie is playing and more about getting to hang out with a room full of friends! Our average HCC-associated attendance is usually around 50-60 people and are record set a few years ago was around 95! Now that's a lot of fun!

This year we will be seeing "Enchanted" at 9:50pm and to make things easier, I recommend coming a few minutes early or simply pre-buying tickets so you don't need to stand in line in the cold!

Remember, the service is over at around 8:30pm, so plan rides accordingly because the church won't necessarily stay open for the entire 80 minutes after the service ends!

Can't wait to see you all there, bring everyone you know!

Retreat Recap!

This week (10/17) we will be doing a recap of our Fall Retreat! So come and play games with us and see what happened last weekend! See you there!

PAC NITE 10 is upon us!

So if this crazy picture of last years Pac Nite is any indication of what's to come, I can't wait! Maytag relay, Klump, Elevator Cram and Walking the Plank are just a few of the games we will be playing this Wednesday! So come on down to kick off youth group with us Pac Nite style! It's at 5:43-7:15pm, bring some friends, and come have some fun!

Yep, registration to Gleanings (our Middle School mission trip to Fresno California) will be out this week! Spots are limited, so make sure you sign up fast, they need to be in my March 15th!
