No Youth Group and Mission Trip and Poinsettia Info

What a fantastic weekend at the Thunder Retreat this weekend!  We had a blast and I'll be posting links and a short video soon.

Until then, we just wanted to remind you that there will be NO YOUTH GROUP tomorrow for Halloween so we ask that you stay safe and have fun!

We will see you next week (11/7) with our Retreat Recap.

And if you are even considering going on our Summer Mission Trip to Gleanings (July 6-15) in California, then you should pick up some Poinsettia Fund Raiser forms at church or simply download and print them from links on our website (www.hccfuel.com).  

We will have a Parent Mission Trip (middle school and high school) Info Night on Monday Nov. 5th at 7PM.  But don't wait until then to start selling since Poinsettia order forms will need to be turned in no later than Nov. 14!

Mission Trip Fundraisers & Fall Retreat Info!

Just a reminder that we leave TOMORROW for our Fall Retreat!

Meet at the "old" front doors of the Worship Center, which are the ones closest to the middle church entrance off of Gustafson Dr.

We will be meeting at 4PM and remember to bring a sack dinner!

We are also starting off our first Fund Raiser for our Mission Trip to Gleanings this summer!

Students are encouraged to sell Poinsettias at church, to neighbors, friends, families, and business's.

Registration for our summer mission trip will be out next week.  Dates for our 5th trip to Fresno California are July 6-15.  A High School and Middle School mission trip parent info meeting will be held on November 5 @7PM at the church.

Pizza & Praise ($3) and Fall Retreat Pack List

This Wednesday is our first Pizza & Praise of the year!

Bring $3 because we'll start by sharing a pizza dinner together and finish the night praising God through song!

This weekend those signed up for our Fall Retreat to Camp of the Cascades will be meeting at church at 4PM by the church doors closest to the middle entrance (off of Gustafson).

What to pack:
(We will only be gone for 2 nights so please don't overpack!)

• A Sack Dinner! (Our first meal there will be Breakfast on Saturday)
• Clothes
• Warm Jacket (it will likely rain)
• Sleeping Bag/Pillow (you will not need a sleeping pad)
• Bible/Journal/Pen
• Towel/Soap/Shampoo/Toothbrush/Etc
• Flashlight
• Good shoes to walk around in
• Money for extra activies (see below)/tshirt ($8)/snacks (all optional)
• Camera (optional)
• Prizes for best Luau themed costume!

There will be plenty of free fun activities for everyone to do but these below will be available for those that would like to pay extra to signup for.

• Climbing Wall - $3
• Tie Dye - $2 (dye only), $5 (shirt and dye)
• Zip Line - $5
• Paintball - $10 (weather permitting, and please bring clothes for)
• Trail Rides - $12

What NOT to bring:

• Cell Phones (can be left with a leader)
• iPod/MP3 Players/Anything-with-a-headphone-plug (they're anti-social)
• Weapons/Alcohol/Drugs
• Bad Attitudes
• Xoloitzcuintli

Staff Q&A Night!

We've been collecting questions from all of you for the last few weeks just for this night!

Come out and have fun with us, and don't forget to bring your friends!

We'll play some games and in between we'll have our volunteer staff take turns jumping up on stage for a few minutes to answer some of your questions.

The goal is two fold, hopefully you get to know your volunteer staff team a bit better and secondly, we hope you learn that you can ask them anything.

So don't miss out!
