LSD Night

No, it's not what you think...for us LSD stands for Love, Sex and Dating. The name is a throw back to when I (Jen) was going to Youth Group at HCC and we'd always have an LSD Night right before Valentines Day.

So what are we going to talk about and why should you come? Mostly we are going to talk about dating and friendships and what that all means. Then we'll split into girl/guy groups for a few minutes and let students have a chance to ask questions to their group leaders. We will also touch on how technology has been adding new challenges in this area and how we should go about it. Finally we will look at how the Bible describes Love and compare that to how we often use that word (for example, "I love tacos!").

Throw in some games and I think we have ourselves a fun night! Can't wait to see you all there!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Next week is Presidents Break so we will NOT be meeting 0n 2/18/09 (though it would be a perfect time to hang out with your leaders - so CALL THEM!), the following week is Ash Wednesday (2/25/09) and instead of Youth Group we will be having a combined meeting with our High Schoolers and others at 7pm. We will return to our regular schedule on March 4th with Pizza and Praise @ 5:43pm.
