Our 15th Annual Trike Race is just around the corner!
This Wednesday we will be meeting at church and then splitting into our grades to build our Trikes and finish our teams theme. So contact Jen at church if you're still unclear on what your grades theme is and what to bring.
....And...Our Summer Camp Registration is finally out!
Here's the gist:
We are changing gears and headed to Island Lake this year! If you turn in the registration before the end of June, Summer Camp this year will end up costing $315 which is $100 less than last year! Also each cabin will have the opportunity to play paintball and ride the dirt bikes (must be at least 4'8") for free! Registration can be picked up at church and will be uploaded to our website (www.hccfuel.com) shortly so that you can download and print them from home (please download the pdf and not just print screen from the website).
The dates are the same that they have been all year, August 4-10!
Welcome to HCC Fuel's Middle School blog site! This is the home for all of our information! Don't forget to check our online Calendar on the bottom of this page!

Mass Hangout!
Last one of the school year!
What friends are you bringing?
Mass Hangout is a night designed to be an easy way to invite your friends to Youth Group. We'll be playing a bunch of games all night and provide time for our leaders to hangout with you and your friends.
We'll also have Summer Camp Registration available! So be sure to grab some!
And as a reminder, next week is Pit Crew, where you'll be breaking into your groups to finalize your themes and trike for the June 5th 15th ANNUAL TRIKE RACE! If you have a base to build a trike off of, tell your leaders (and don't forget to ask your parents!). Trikes in the past have been made out of many things: lawn mowers, garbage cans, boogie boards, shopping carts, wheelchairs, baby strollers, even tricycles!

Last Group Nite of the School Year!
We're finishing our last Group Nite series tonight talking about Peter and how he wanted to walk on water like Jesus. What's the boldest thing you have ever done as a follower of Jesus? Come tonight to play some games, talk about the upcoming TRIKE RACE, and dig into the book of Matthew and hear about this crazy dude who WALKED ON WATER!

IIT316 Tonight! And some Summer Camp info!
Tonight is a IIT316 (2 Timothy 3:16) night!
Ever heard the term "the writing on the wall" in a book, movie or tv show? It's a term that often speaks of impending doom for the character. Did you know that reference comes from a Bible passage?
So bring your Bible and bring a friend as we play some games and jump into the book of Daniel to find out why the Bible talks about a disembodied hand writing on a wall and how that can have anything to do with us!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Summer camp details are finally getting finished, we'll have registration out for you this next week!
The dates have been the same all year: August 4-10
And as we promised at the Winter Dessert, it will be much cheaper this year from last year!

Group Nite and Gleanings Community Rent-a-Kid
This week, we are continuing a three-week series (4/10, tonight, and 5/15) on the topic of “Dangerous People.” Each lesson focuses on a biblical character who did the right thing despite the risk of alienation, death, or rejection. We'll talk tonight about Ester, using Ester 4 as our primary passage of Scripture.
Last time we talked about peer pressure, tonight we will talk about being bold when we see injustice in our world. Making a decision to follow Christ is a defining moment because we become a part of something bigger than ourselves. Being a Christ-follower gives us a purpose that is bigger than our own.

We will all meet in the parking lot. Wear pants and closed-toed shoes.
